Bout of Books Challenge: Character Soulmates

Bout of Books
Hello Bout of Bookers! How's everyone's week of reading been? I hope you are all having a Happy Friday. Today I am super excited to be hosting this challenge for you guys! Everyone can participate and have fun with it.

Today I have the Character Soulmates Challenge for you. It's great because we are going to be shipping characters from different books. Have you ever thought __(person)__ from this book would be just perfect with __(person)__ from this other book? Well here is your chance to finally pair them up and watch the sparks fly.

WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO

1.) Pick two characters from two different books who you think will be great together in a romantic relationship. These characters must have never been in the same book together or met before.

2.) Comment on this post telling me which characters you picked and what books they are each from. You can't forget to give them a cool ship name too! An example of a ship name can be "Percabeth" for Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase. If you have a blog or a youtube channel, you can also just put this info in a post/video and leave a link to it in the comments.

3.) Give me a short reason as to why you paired those two as a cute couple. Convince us that it is meant to be.

4.) I will be tweeting out my favorites using the hashtags #CharaSM and #BoutofBooks, so leave your twitter name in the comments as well if you want to be mentioned if I tweet yours out.

Here's My Example

My pair is going to quite interesting

Rachel from Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews & Leo Valdez from The Heroes of Olympus Series by Rick Riordan
Ship Name: Raleo (Lol I tried guys)
Reason: They both are not the most attractive people in the world, but they are very lovable. Rachel is pretty patient, so she can handle Leo's antics, but she also has a sense of humor. Leo would crack cheesy jokes all day and Rachel would laugh at them all. I guess their relationship would turn out to be kind of sad since Rachel has leukemia, so let's just pretend she doesn't for the sake of this challenge. Other than that, I believe they are perfect for each other. (I mean just imagine it for a second.)

Need help coming up with a ship name? Try this!

That's all you have to do folks, so have fun with it. Definitely read other people's answers and share your favorites. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

And don't forget to spread the love

Elise from This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales and Samheed from The Unwanteds series by Lisa McMann.

Ship Name: Samise (Thank you name combiner)

Reason: Both of them had a hard time getting out there and working and being with people. They are very passionate about their art and are able to fully express themselves through their passion. They also have gained confidence and their ability to be with others through their art. I believe that not only can Elise and Sam can connect through their passion, but they can also grow by being with each other and combining their passion for their respective arts.
I don't ever ship characters from different books so I was at a bit of a lost but then I just thought of two characters that needed some love. Soooo my pairing is Neville Longbottom (Harry Potter) and Gale Hawthorne (Hunger Games). Ship name is Gaville. Reasoning is that many a time they're pushed aside or end up as a third wheel. They can understand one another's loneliness and rejection on a deep, emotional level and the love just blossoms from there. So much love. I'm going to go now. haha ;D

Hmm, Prince Nikolai from The Grisha series (because he deserves a happy ending and someone who will love him) and Winter from The Lunar Chronicles (I know she has a love interest, but I think with her background and how she can be sweet, sly, and fierce, that she'd be perfect for Nikolai and vice versa).

Ship name would be... Yuck! I don't like any of them, but I guess I'll go with Winolai. :/ Kind of fits in a way: "Win o lie." Lol!

Thanks for the giveaway!
My recent post Spindle by W.R. Gingell (Review)
Perry from The Other Normals and Christina from Divergent.
Pertina.

He's a lost and confused rp gamer geek. She's got brains and brawn. She'd help him as he transforms into a butt kicker. He'd adore her uniqueness, strength, and mind. Where he grew toward a world of fiction (or so he assumed), she grew from a place of truth above all. The opposites attract from their earlier days would make for a stunning couple.

@JLenniDorner
I had no idea what to pick, so thought I would just do something silly.

Maurice, the cat, from 'The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents' by Terry Pratchett and Crookshanks, Hermione's cat, from Harry Potter.

Ship name: Crookshankice
https://twitter.com/spyroandbooks/status/63461964...
Cameron Post from The Miseducation of Cameron Post, and Mike from Far From Xanadu
Ship name: Camerike

-They are both highschool-aged lesbians who have known for awhile that they are gay but are still sort of figuring themselves out.
-They both lost their parents and are lamenting that loss.
-Neither of them end up with anyone in the books that they are in, because the girls they had crushes on are straight.
-They are both from small midwestern towns where people aren't too open about being gay.
-They could really be there for each other when no one else is, Mike has a goal in life and could inspire Cameron to develop her own, and Cameron could turn to Mike for help if she has nowhere else to go (we never really see what happens after she escapes from the correctional facility, but it's safe to assume that she's not going back to her aunt who sent her there).

Mare Barrow from Red Queen paired with Abe Lincoln: vampire hunter. ♡ There are slaves to be freed and supernatural beings to battle. That's a common interest for these two. ♡ Mabe Barcoln ♥
My new ship is CASIEN!

Cas from Anna Dressed in Blood & Lucien from A Court of Thorns and Roses.

I've given my reasons over at my blog, Pinker Than Fiction. Please visit and let me know what you think! :-D

Thanks, Chioma, for this awesome challenge. It was fun. If you decide to tweet my ship, my Twitter is @bookishbaggins

This is hard because I read mostly romances and I don't WANT to un-pair then re-pair the hero or heroine- I like who they've ended up with.
I'm going to pair Diesel from the Lizzy & Diesel Janet Evanovich books with Ciel Halligan, the aura adaptor from Linda Grimes Fix series. They're both supernatural, so I think they could have fun together
their shipping name is DieCiel
@MakeMeKay
I chose Arriane from Fallen and Matthew from Poison Princess. Name = Arriew
The reason can be found on my blog https://jazminjade.wordpress.com/2015/08/22/bout-...

I like this lots Chioma!

I choose Puck from the Iron Fey series and Cress from the Lunar Chronicles. I choose these two because Cress is so innocent and naive with a surprising amount of fierceness. I think Pucky's happy go nature and constant teasing would be the ying to her yang.
YOU CAN STOP FIGHTING OVER SHIPS IN THRONE OF GLASS!

We can simply agree that Celaena Sardothien (Throne of Glass) is meant to be with no other but The High Lord of The Night Court: Rhysand (A Court Of Thorns and Roses).

Ship name: Rhysaena

They're both fae, they're both super-powerful, they both have a very dark side, they both suffered losses and imprisonment. Plus they would be the hottest couple to ever exist! EVER! I can imagine them in The Night Court making sexual jokes all the time, going dancing, Celaena reading to Rhysand in bed while he strokes her hair. Celaena waking up in the middle of the night and Rhysand calming her by telling her how it feels to fly, how it makes all his worries go away. [*I must stop , I've given myself the feels*]

It was a difficult and demanding challenge but I believe I have done it ^-^

I chose Draco from Harry Potter and Caine from the Gone series!
My recent post Bout of Books 14.0 ~ Challenge for Day 5
This is a challenge I really struggle with. I mean I do not care that much for romantic relationships in books so I do not give them any thought or time... But if I have to pair two up I'd go with Sophie Bumblebee from "(S)Mythology" by Jeremy Tarr and August Pullman from "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio (I see that there is problem with the agedifference but let's assume that August is an adult and Sophie lost her first love). And the reason for this pairing is that Sophie has to live with a curse as August does (hers is more literally his less so), and they are both well rounded and grounded, down-to-earth, genuinly good people why I think they would compliment each other perfectly. –I think...
